trip icon Lviv-Roztochchya-Krekhiv-Zhovkva-Lviv

Jul 10, 2014 - Jul 10, 2014
Description:

Another cycling day outside of Lviv. At first, I planned to go almost to the border, making a 160 km circle, but strong oncoming wind made me change my route after the first 40 km. It turned out to be a great alternative to what I had planned before. After exiting the highway I did a 10 km ride through the forest and several villages, visiting Krekhiv monastery, until I reached Zhovkva and turned back to Lviv. A 60 km decrease in distance let me return home before dark.
