A Nature Reserve with a small lake full of birds frogs and other creatures. A heaven for birds, from big migrating birds to smallest ones.. a heaven to bird watching ! Thousands of pelicans stop here in Heffer valley on their way to spend winter in Africa. We were lucky to see the collective fishing of pelicans. 7-8 birds gather together in shallow water, creating semi-circle towards the shore. Then they simultaneously lower the beaks into the water and when they pull them out, you can spot the fish in some.
